Fred Brown Photography spent four years in a studio space at Lacuna Artists Lofts. The artistic space is home to various types of arts, and we formed great relationships with many of the other leasers, one being, The Frock Shop. TFS is a local dress rental boutique, with a large national following. We have known the owner, Jennifer Burrell, for years and have worked with her on several projects in the past. It is always a joy to work with her and her team; this event was no different.

TFS launched a quarterly event titled “Style Series”, a tutorial based fashion show hosted by TFS’ marketing strategist and fashion blogger Porchea-Londone Miranda. Models ripped the provisional runway in diverse fashion rentals varying from a sequin romper to flirty dresses to a strapless jumpsuit paired with an unique blazer. Starr Project Studios and Paint Gal Studios provided hair and makeup, respectively, for all the models.

The debut of Style Series doubled as a grand opening of TFS’ new and larger space. The bigger space allows for a chic seating zone equipped with fashion books and mirrored furniture. Guest can sip wine while they wait (or shop). The dress filled space also homes a chaise lounge for guest of clients near the fitting areas.

Kanani Andaluz, friend of Fred Brown, and of America’s Next Top Model fame stopped by and posed for photos with fans. She also chatted with the runway models, happily answering questions and giving tips.
All and all, the evening was jam packed with fashion, and fun. Congratulations to The Frock Shop on their new space and endeavors.
